📣 Notion Updates

Library: Your New Home for Everything

Notion just dropped Library — a full-page view that finally tackles sidebar clutter. If your workspace has grown to the point where your sidebar is overflowing (same), this is the fix.

Library organizes your content into five tabs: Teamspaces, Recents, Favorites, Private pages, and Shared pages. The idea is simple — customize your sidebar to show only what you use daily, and let everything else live in Library, one click away.

It's a small release, but for anyone managing a complex workspace, this is a quality-of-life upgrade you'll notice immediately.

Notion 3.2: Mobile AI, New Models, People Directory

The bigger release from earlier this month is still worth highlighting if you missed it. Notion 3.2 brought full AI Notes and Agent capabilities to mobile — meaning you can transcribe meetings on your commute, hand off tasks to your Agent from your phone, and it all works in the background.

The other headline: model switching. You can now pick from GPT-5.2, Claude Opus 4.5, or Gemini 3 — and switch freely while your context stays with you. No more model lock-in.

A Marketplace for Custom Agents is Coming

In advance of Custom Agents’ upcoming release, you’ll be able to also download agent templates in the marketplace. If you're building agents to share with your team or you’re curious about potential use cases for agents, keep an eye on the Notion Marketplace for a new Custom Agents section (coming soon!).

🎥 This Week's Videos

Custom Agents: Get Tasks from Meetings Automatically

This was the most-requested topic from clients: how do I get action items from AI meeting notes into my task database?

The answer is a simple custom agent, programmed to pull checklist items every time a meeting notes summary is created. You define what a task looks like, map action items to your task database properties, and tell it where to put them. Write it once, reuse it every time.

The video covers how to set up a custom agent triggered when a meeting's status is set to Done. The agent reads the notes, creates tasks, assigns them, connects them to the right project, and even notifies attendees.

Don’t have custom agents yet? You will, soon. 👀

I Accidentally Built a CRM with Custom Agents

This one kind of blew up. I set out to connect Notion Mail with a simple inbound lead workflow, and ended up building a full CRM powered entirely by custom agents.

Here's what it does: when an email comes in from a Tally form or a Notion partner referral, the agent reads the email, creates a CRM entry, researches the company on the web, drafts a reply in Notion Mail, and sends a Slack notification — all without me touching anything.

The video walks through the first part of the setup, and how to write instructions for your agents. This is Part 1 of a series on what I'm calling the Sales Agent 2.0. Parts 2-4 will cover discovery calls, proposals, and automated follow-ups.

🎙️ Live Session: Get Started with Custom Agents — Thursday, Feb 26

Notion AI is great for quick answers. Custom agents? That's where the real work happens.

This Thursday, we're breaking down what makes custom agents different — and why they're the unlock most teams haven't tapped into yet.

What we'll cover:

Custom Agents vs. Notion AI — What's the actual difference, and when does each make sense?
Getting Your Agents to Perform — The tips that separate agents that work from ones that sit unused.
Advanced Features Sneak Peek — How to trigger Slack notifications, set up automation triggers, and orchestrate workflows that actually save time.

We'll also preview an upcoming Custom Agent Camp — a deeper dive into connecting agents to external tools via MCP, building collaborative agent teams, and designing systems that scale with your operations.

That's it for this week. Between Library cleaning up your sidebar, Present mode turning pages into slides, and custom agents running your CRM and meetings — it's a good time to be building in Notion.

If you like this newsletter, I’d love if you could forward it to anyone you think would find Superwork helpful!
